About Susan Larson-Buckley
I grew up in Edina, Minnesota and have lived in Eden Prairie, Minnesota for the past eleven years. I spent seven years out of state from 1990 until 1997 in Connecticut, South Carolina and Tennessee. I have enjoyed Minnesota’s superior quality of life for most of my life but believe that we have lost that in recent years.
I graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul with a degree in sociology and psychology in 1978, and received certification in elementary education in 1987. I worked as a newspaper journalist for five years after leaving the education field. I also am a certified paralegal but am currently retired. I have three grown daughters, two grandsons and a granddaughter.
Although my career path was diverse, I never was involved politically. I was raised by two Reagan Conservatives and adopted those values and voted similarly. That was the extent of my political involvement. Everything changed after Obama was elected.
One new horror from Obama and his administration nearly every day woke me up!! I suddenly was aware that the country I loved was headed in the wrong direction fast. I didn’t realize at first that this had been going on for a long time but I started to educate myself and was stunned at my ignorance, the ignorance of the masses and what I feel that will mean to us as Americans.
I am busy learning as fast as I can and at the same time be active and participate in the process to change the status quo. I attended my first caucus this year, became a delegate, attended my local convention, joined the Resolutions Committee and endorsed candidates. I also had previously become involved in Operation2010 which was later changed to RogueOn.Org., a political group promoting conservative Constitutional principles and action.
When Robert Craigh asked me to be the state coordinator of the Minnesota chapter of RogueOn I said yes. I was eager to meet with other Minnesotans to try and stop the damage by the liberal/progressive agenda. Sixteen of us met as a group in January to discuss strategy for action. It was so exciting to meet with other enthusiastic conservatives!
Now our group has grown to about 44 as of late February. It is now time to work together to effect the change we all want! I am honored and privileged to work with so many patriots and I thank all of you for joining our team.
