Government Corruption and Tax and Spend Draws 2500 Supporting Emmer and Other Conservative Candidates
Saturday, October 30th was a breezy, beautiful sunny day in Minnesota, in perfect complement to the spirit of the people gatheri
ng at 1 p.m. at the Key Air hangar, at the Anoka County-Blaine Airport to attend the “Governors In Support of Tom Emmer for Governor Rally.”
The rally, put on by the Minnesota GOP and free to the general public, included some big names in politics and the entertainment industry. Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, New Jersey Governor Chris Christy, Grammy Award Winning Country Artist Bryan White, and
long-time actor Jon Voight (Midnight Cowboy) were featured guests.
Also present were Governor Tim Pawlenty, former Senator Norm Coleman, U.S. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, Congressmen Erik Paulsen and John Kline, and a long list of candidates running for office on November 2nd.
Campaign buttons, American flags, and “Emmer For Governor” signs along with other candidates’ signs were passed out as the crowd poured in. Everywhere smiles and a flurry of activity until the first guest arrived on stage. Bryan White primed the already excited crowd with his tunes before getting down to business.
