Today the Republican House and Senate Caucus met with Governor Dayton regarding our budget proposal. Our budget proposal balances the budget without raising taxes. Our budget proposal is a 6% increase from last biennium. 6% more!! How many of you have received a 6% raise this past year?

I write this in urgency. We are debating the Legacy bill and have been for hours. Another filibuster by the DFL and carbon dioxide is filling the chambers is an alarming rate. Seriously, in 15 minutes we will be going into OVERTIME. OVERTIME because Dayton is not here – he’s out of the Capitol having a good time somewhere while Minnesotan’s are left wondering about the future of the State.
