Will There be an Upset in CD7 This November?

Lee Byberg won the GOP endorsement at the 7th Congressional District convention on Saturday, April 10th in the first round of balloting.

The Marshall Independent wrote about Lee Byberg’s endorsement on April 11th: Willmar businessman to challenge Peterson in 7th Dist, as well as a follow up article on April 15th: Editorial: Is there room for an upset in CD7?

A Willmar businessman, Lee Byberg has a fundamental understanding of the danger that socialism represents to our liberties and our lives. Born in the US to Norwegian parents, Lee spent time growing up in Brazil, Paraguay and Norway.

After graduating high school in Norway, Lee moved back to the US to live the American dream. Now he sees a similar movement in the United States that he left Europe to escape: encroaching socialism.

Lee made the decision to do his part to help stop the rising tide of socialism in this country by running for Congress in opposition to Collin Peterson who has held the seat for nearly 20 years. Lee believes we must return to the founding principles that have made this country great for over 200 years.

In his latest blog post, Course Plotted, Destination: Washington, Lee talks about the voyage to take back, not only the 7th Congressional District of Minnesota, but the entire country by and for the American people.

Congratulations Lee Byberg, on your endorsement by the GOP for CD7!
